Heard that Christ Church not bad but not sure how their students fare for their Os since they have so many fun-filled activities instead of academic based programs. Can someone comment or feedback on the school please? TIA.
Can I fill in only one slot for the 6 options?

Can. As long as you are happy with it and ready to accept any consequences.
Just fill in extra five names lah.
Won't take you more than 2 minutes.

With 272? :xedfingers:
Even with 283 you should put in 6 names.

Yes, I agree, let's not let success overtake our common sense. Doing well in PSLE is a very small success in a very long academic journey. Good attitude and doing the right thing and being humble carry us much further than a good PSLE T-score. Wishing you the best Leo Lion, and hope this is only the beginning of your great journey. šŸ™‚

DD has been reading ferociously since post PSLE. She usually picks up books from the library. She also re-reads some of the books we have at home, old magazines and at times, even her younger brother's books. Basically, anything that she can lay her hands on and especially now - when she no longer get evil looks from me for spending her time reading and not doing \"practice papers\".

She plays the piano more frequently too - working on pop songs and pieces that she likes.

2ppaamm:
I am just very, very curious. Do the children who get high PSLE T-scores really just read textbook and school related materials only? How about newspapers, magazines, rubbish and other totally unrelated stuff? Did your children get to read all those stuff during P6? Cause I cannot imagine how this works for my kids. They are never bored. Perhaps they are bored because they have been doing so much PSLE prep that they feel there is a 'gap' in their lives?

With 272? :xedfingers:
With 272, I'm sure you can read simple instructions in the S1 posting booklet that states:
\"Parents are advised to indicate all the six secondary school choices, in order of preference.\"
Let's not test the system at critical time like this, in case it works against you and you will be at the losing end!

For GEP students if you op for schools like RVH and NJC, you are no more in the GE system right since they are not on the list of the GE branch recognised GE schools ?

Will that be a factor in your consideration for school ?
Ngbrdad,
