          Hi,

My son scored 262 in the PSLE.
We are Malaysians and stayed in the east. We are considering Dunman High and Victoria.

Dunman High - SAP school and co-ed
Victoria - government school and single-sex

We heard Dunman High has a lot more girls than boys, up to the ratio of 2:1. Any person can confirm this?

Kids nowadays are different from our generation. We are afraid that he may get distracted by bgr stuff.

He is active and his preference is Victoria.

Any body can provide further input to the two schools?

          Thanks!
Yes, DHS has more girls than boys roughly in the ratio of 2:1
It 's common in other IP schs too as practically girls perform better than boys in PSLE,
even in yr 3 after the streaming, one of the best class has only 3 boys in it.

As for BGR thingy, it 's also prevalent in an all girls' sec sch.

Teenagers are very advanced nowadays. Even if you put him in a boy's sch, he can easily get a girlfriend from another sch. I always see girls in their sch uniform (from well-known girls' sch), hand in hand with boys at some shopping mall. 😂
            Sall, that 's right......
if they wanna to get involve in BGR, they'll know how and where to find partners.... 😉

may not have enough boys during inter-school sports competitions...

RV also has a lot more girls than boys and they don't have this problem for inter-sch sports competitions. More difficult for them to get boys for choir and dance.

hi, again, i’m using my kid’s login name to write.

Need some advices from all of you.

My dd score is 260 +2, and we are thinking of putting NYGS as 1st choice, follow by Dunman high and NJC( non-sap school ). Really hope that she can get into one of these schools.

We are staying near lorong Chuan MRT station. after checking using streets directory and google map, we fould that from our place to Dunman high is not that straigh forward at all. ( either taking 158 bus from Aljunied station, or taking buses from dakota/ mountbattern station. ( but why the bus stop is so far away from the these cc staion? ) is there any better/faster way to go thre?

Pls. advise if ther is any school bus from my place ?

School bus operators will be present on the reporting day.
I do not have the contact of school bus operators now, maybe u can chck it out fr DHS 's office.
I think there shd be schbus service fr yr place as my gal's schmates come fr different parts of singapore taking the schbus.
