The reason for my concern asking no. of DHSians doing Law is that a lot of my surrounding people\" comment that the pupils here lose out in GP compared to those top JC applicants and thus may not have a good chance to enter Law or journalism which happen to be my dd's dream! Anyway, I appreciate your kind effort in answering all our kiasu questions in this forum.

yes, i do understand yr concern.
but on the otherhand, i do heard senior high pupils taking up extra coaching/tuition for GP (in fact,not only GP)
even though they are fr the top JCs,
so i do have some reserve that good results are def all fr the credits of the sch teachers......
and i dont deny that RJC, HCI are more experienced in running the JC's curriculum

My son scored 262 in the PSLE.
We are Malaysians and stayed in the east. We are considering Dunman High and Victoria.

Dunman High - SAP school and co-ed
Victoria - government school and single-sex

We heard Dunman High has a lot more girls than boys, up to the ratio of 2:1. Any person can confirm this?

Kids nowadays are different from our generation. We are afraid that he may get distracted by bgr stuff.

He is active and his preference is Victoria.

Any body can provide further input to the two schools?

Teenagers are very advanced nowadays. Even if you put him in a boy's sch, he can easily get a girlfriend from another sch. I always see girls in their sch uniform (from well-known girls' sch), hand in hand with boys at some shopping mall.

Yes, DHS has more girls than boys roughly in the ratio of 2:1
It 's common in other IP schs too as practically girls perform better than boys in PSLE,
even in yr 3 after the streaming, one of the best class has only 3 boys in it.

As for BGR thingy, it 's also prevalent in an all girls' sec sch.
