Oops I just woke up:P good morning:) and yes, I have 3 sets of blouse & pinafore, 2 sets of pe & shorts and 2 culottes. Culottes can be worn on weds. Shoes must be 80% white, any brand whatsoever. Socks must be totally white(strangely even the soles) or the rgs ones. Though you will be given 2 pairs in orientation. Rgs socks are like $7 a pair from prefect room and wears out easily.

Don't forget to buy a blouse with slightly longer sleeves cos you need to fold them:)

Bus transport to moelc is available. $55 a year if I am correct. Cheap cos distance is near.
Thank you Choco05 for being so helpful šŸ™‚
Any idea if the bus will refund the balance of $55 if DD quit 3rd lang half way? Dont bother to reply if unsure, I can check on orientation day. Thanks very much !

Hi, I don't think there's refund. It's stated somewhere on this year's form too.

Here goes... the average GPA is calculated by adding all the GPA of the core subjects then dividing it by the no. of subjects. System is as follows... Max average GPA will be 4.0.

                      80 & above---4.0
                      70-79---3.6
                      65-69---3.2
                      60-64---2.8
                      55-59---2.4
                      50-54---2.0
                      45-49---1.6
                      40-44---1.2
                      Below 40---0.8

We took 7 core subjects this year. 3rd Lang or special programs like CSP are also considered as a core subject, but the result will only be included at end-of-year. 3rd Lang GPA can be used to substitute the GPA of a subject in school(not languages, maths or science. So basically the humanities.)

I forgot to mention this to everyone. For 2012, RGS will be using the 1:1 thingy using Macs and other Apple products, so i don't know if they will change the syllabus or anything like that. I'm sharing based on the 2011 one.

The exams start appearing more and more as you go to Term 2. The projects are usually spread throughout the year, especially Term 2 & 3.
Thanks Choco05 for your help but what are the 7 core subjects taken? :?
For Science, is Biology, Chemistry and Physics separate or together?
Also, for uniform, the blouse is triangle-collared right? And is the PE-shirt meant to be tucked in? Because the PE-shirts at Bibi and Baba are kinda short...

We take each of the sciences seperately. Like 'pure' science. Though the 3 sciences are taught throughtout 2 years. Meaning, 1 semster you do one science, the next you do another. In year 2 you do another one in the first semester, and then you do CSI!

The science taught that semester is different for every class.

I guess you would call it triangle-collared... And no the PE shirts are the only exception that don't have to be tucked in. They might be a little short, but in an all girls' school, it's not much of a problem :rotflmao:

Mine's getting too short too. Time for a new one:p
