Hi JoaLim, no offence but I think you should play safe by choosing schools nearest to your child's score like may be one score difference still fine but not by a few or more. I would say the chance is not high and you could be wasting your chance and ended up posted to a school which you dislike. JMHO.

Yes, that’s what always happen since most schools would of course want to take in better students in terms of higher score. So it is always safer to place your first choice with a school’s cop lesser than your child’s score. JMHO.

Well when there are 6 choices, I think you can gamble with at least your first choice. Meaning place first choice as the school with previous years's COP being 2 points above your child's T-score. But play safe with the rest of your choices. Coz sometimes COP also drops by 1 or 2 points, then may have to regret later for not putting that particular school, if it happens to be a school the child is keen on.

My son also scored 222. I am staying east and looking at Pasir Ris sec school.

But will be trying for schools such as Temasek and Dunman Sec with about 230 COP.
Can’t help but felt disappointed. A score of 231 would be able to get him to a better school.
