I've just found out about bus service to TKGS.

There is available for those students live in East, Tampines and Pasir Ris.

I'm very interested in TKGS's MEP programme (heard that it's really good) and I've put it as one of my choices. Can anyone tell me more abt the MEP?

Sec 1 has 7 classes in TKGS and S1/7 is for MEP students.

I met one of students who is taking MEP there and she looks very energetic and very motivated in her passion.

she told me, her PSLE score was very lower than TKGS COP but she got in TKPS as her CCA in primary was choir and she may be in very good in Music.

I have a direct bus to TKGS.
I have both grade 5 certs of theory(pass) and Piano practical(merit) and interested to Band or Clubbies (Infocomm Club And Art Club). Can i join the MEP with those certs? no worries, i have another cert in grade 4 practical also merit.

According to MOE,
No banding - 8 schools
Band 1 - 10 schools
Band 2 - 9 schools
Band 3 - 5 schools
are available in 2011.

I wish, my girl could get into no Banding school.

However, all are depending on students PSLE marks.

The most important is a student set her/his mind.

I have a true story in my time.

A boy got 281 marks when he was in P6 and became a Hwa Chong student.
He did not score well during 4 years and finally, he was kicked out by HC, end up in NY JC.

His A level was very good.
Now he is a doctor.

A moral of the story, A level is important than PSLE.

Sometime, a dream school can be in nightmare.
