      Turquoise

      thank you.

Sorry, another question: it was mentioned use of HMT points only for SAP sch. But a lot of non SAP sch offered HMT. So I am confused.

SAP = traditional chinese origin sch, eg Nan Hua

non SAP eg, Clementi Town (based on MOE website, ref F, a list of sch offering HMT)

Does it mean a sch that offers HMT, I can use HMT points?

No, you can only use HMT scores for SAP schools such as HCI, NYGH, St Nicholas etc.

I am not familiar with Chung Cheng but I suppose you will be able to find the information from the school itself or the MOE website.

              finder:
if it girl, then TANJONG KATONG GIRL. Quite impressive, having a mean of 240 and yet producing band 1 result.

With their result so good this year. I think it will hard to go in this time.

                Choices available are:

                Victoria School
Victoria JC (is it true that they are accepting sec 1 students next year?)
                Tanjong Katong Sec
                Chung Cheng
                Temasek Sec
                Geylang Methodist
How would you rank them in order of priority? :?: Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have been reading the posts at this forum for quite some time. Only regret is that I should start earlier when my girl was doing her PSLE last yr.

If you are staying in the east and wanted a girls school, TKGS would be a good choice. My girl is in sec 1 now and she really enjoys being around with all the girls. It can be slightly stressful at times but overall if a child like the school, others can be overcome by determination.

Chung Cheng (yishun) is not a SAP school, so most likely cannot.

How about the TK secondary school next to TKGS? TKSS need more aggregate to go in, isn't a better school?
                        Please advise
