I bought the stainless steel powder to clean the pot . It is very clean and no white stain.

      LOLMum:

i am using baking soda too for my oven and pots. but i notice a white stain on areas i wiped on after it dried. i have to use a wet cloth to wipe it off again.

:? anyone has the same experience?

If anyone is keen to make own wipes-

I have tried with Tupperware All-purpose cleaner. You can add baby shampoo or baby bath to make baby wipes....

          Kiasimom,

          Interesting thread šŸ˜„

My mom taught me this trick of putting cloves (a type of spice) in the kitchen cabinet and also in the cabinet under the sink so as to 'drive away' the cockroaches.

So I just scatter a few in all my kitchen cabinets. We (my mom and I) do not have any major problems with roaches so far :xedfingers:

I love the smell of cloves!

and boy do I hates roaches! Will try it as soon as we buy some cloves this weekend!

is it must change the cloves regularly after they dry up?

We have one in the freezer and one in the fridge too....but remember that
the box must be opened and the baking soda exposed. šŸ˜‰

Thanks for pointing that out šŸ˜„ For me I'm afraid that my kids will spill the powder, I scoop out the baking soda into a recycled box with cover and punch holes on the cover to \"expose\" them. It works too šŸ™‚

Oh yah, I also put some baking soda in my dish washing detergent, it will make the cleaning more effective. Also read that it will be less harsh on the hands.... not sure about this though maybe my hands already \"seasoned\"?! šŸ˜›

need to change the baking soda after some time?

Anyone know how to clean kitchen cabinet inner wall/shelves

                1) patches of orange stain (i thk it caused by rust)
                2) stain covered by white paint
                3) mark/stain from removing brown glossy masking tapes.

I hv an irresponsible tenant who did this to my kitchen cabinet. Just got back my flat.

Thank you in advance for your advice.
