Ok.. sharing this so that members of this club can feel \"being fortunate\"...

My colleague has 2 sons.. P3 & P4. One day, he and his wife returned home after gloomy meetings with their form teachers ( PTC session ), and ho ho ho... who did they see waiting at their door gate ????
            Policeman !!

Apparently, the parents left the 2 kids at home, and it turned up to be a big war time for the 2 sons... they quarelled and fought each other.. the war became so big that the younger son called the police to arrest his elder brother !

Yeap... members here do not hv to face this problem, right ?... of children fighting and quarelling among themselves .. Hee hee, sour grapes! ?? :siam:

Boys will be boys, my sister-in-law has 3 boys, they would always quarrel and fight over toys, sometime can get quite violent, even when at play :slapshead: :stupid: , schoolday is the only time she can get some moment of peace, pity her. Come to think of it, I think I am happy and content with one dd kekeke

Just yesterday, I was bonding and chatting with DD. Then I told her she has to come home and visit mummy and daddy more often after she married and has her own family. I told her we are gonna miss her terribly as she is our only child.

                    Guess what was her reaction?

Her eyes turned red like she was going to cry and she hugged me tightly. I asked her why and she said she wants to live with mummy and daddy even after she gets married. My heart felt warm and fuzzy…don’t know if she will still feel the same way when she grows up???

I also told DD to have more than 1 kid in future so that DH and I can have more grandkids to play with. 🙂

She promised me 3 after some negotiations...hahhaha....Hopefully DD will be blessed with more children than I have...

Only members of this club will understand our feelings and predicament of having only one child. Can't help feeling we shld get together and meet some day...like some social network for ourselves and our only child. :celebrate:

My DS also said he want to stay with us even after married. I explained to him that it's better for him & his wife to have a place of their own, especially when they just got married. It's healthier for their marriage.
They can come visit us more often. If can have at least 2 kids & we can help to take care if they need our help. My DH & I love children, we don't mind taking care of kids for our children but don't want to encourage them to shield their responsibility as parents as well.
