Yeap.. physical copy is always better. But very difficult to get fr library.. Champ, it will cost you a bomb if u are going to reserve every one ! ...
šŸ˜† Yes, It will costs me $1.55 x 60 = $93! :yikes: to reserve all the books in the list! :siam: No lah, I will read the preview at the Amazon.com 1st then will do the reservation at NLB if the books are available.

So far, I have done one reservation yesterday - somehow, this title caught my attention :please:  56. Stephanie Tolan, Sophie and the Sidewalk Man. This one is only available at Jurong Regional Library so I have to wait for it lioa šŸ˜‰

BTW, Andrew Clements, Frindle is a nice book to read.. DS enjoys this author.
:hugs: Thank you, Mummy Just4Fun for the recommendation. Here the review of the book from Amazon.Com

        Thank you , smartmummy.

Next year , it will be a big change for DS :-
        1. Higher Primary level... no longer babies of the school .
        2. CCA to attend
        3. Morning session iso Afternoon session
        4. Worst ( to him ) ... hv to attend student care , and he really drag this !

Keeping fingers cross that he can adapt to all these new changes...

Indeed quite a few changes for him. Hope he can adapt well. šŸ™‚
Which CCA is he joining in P4? Me has been joining CCAs since P1.
At least the sch environment which he spend most of his time does not change much.. only relocation which is better for u. heheh

Just888, sorri.. missed yr post .. so u are back from holidays ?
He is hoping to join Chess, quite boring right ? Told him to take some physical activities but he is not keen.
So both you and yr DS shd be very anxious now.. either one of u waiting by the letter box ?

Chess should be quite fun I think.
He is the one waiting for it not me.

            thanks for the list!

when your kids finished reading, can share which are the interesting ones? heehee...some titles sounds quite 'serious'. šŸ˜“
i personally do not like BFG. i cannot get past the grammar mistakes made by the giant. šŸ˜“
            OK,
            Likes from my DS..
1 Kira Kira ( a very touching story of a young Japanese girl who subsequently lost her elder sister )
            2. BFG ( I hv not read this so can't comment on the grammar.
But I do like \" Champion \" by the same author )
            3. Frindle

Books that u can give it a miss ...
            1. The cat who went to heaven
            2. See you around, Sam ( too simple story line)
            3. Strawberry Girl ( gave up on this one cos of the 'short' form english written style)

Wah..just4Fun, your DS read so fast and you managed to get the books from the library? Looking at the title - Strawberry Girl, I do not think my DS would be interested in it.

Both DS and me were having fun yesterday trying to design our own T-shirt via online store. Currently there is a promotion $3 per T-shirt instead of the usual $13 plus uploading of the photos to the T-shirt is FOC. For those who are interested can go via the following link: http://www.vistaprint.sg/simplyherdec

Think quite hard to find. But manage to get for DS a few to read. But he like not that interested as compared to his Hardy Boys.
