      Hi Allseasons

I have used the thermal pot for cooking stews, spaghetti sauces, curry, soups and porridge - all these dishes cook well in the thermal pot and it's so convenient too.

I just called OG. They told me that it's \"Kukeri\" brand (OG's in house brand).

Some weeks ago, OG has a sale for this brand, a 6 litres capacity (two 3 litres inner pot and a free 6 litre pot). I went to check it out. Compared to OG house brand, THERMOS inner pots are heavier and thicker. Its outer pot is also thicker- better insulation, I think.

But I did not buy it ($299 then). The capacity is too large for my family. Someone in this post advised that for effective cooking, the inner pot should be filled 80%. So calculating backwards, even a 4.5 litres pot is too much for me. Maybe I would stick to the conventional method.

Yes, I saw this brand at OG too. I bou the small one (1 litre) for making green bean soup. Maybe the quantity I made is too little (less than 80% of the pot capacity), I find myself boiling the inner pot at least twice to get the consistency I wanted.

I like to slow boil bones (be it pork, chicken or fish) till the soup is milky. Can cooking such soup in a thermal pot yield a milky soup?

                        Appreciate your sharing.
