2012 P1 Registration Exercise for 2013 In-Take

So much of WEST forumers…anyone in the North-Eastern side? my DS is registering next year, P1 in 2013. Unable to contribute as PV so pressured the school for what other alternative for P2B category, where they mention either go grassroots or members of religious group.

I am willing to sacrifice my sleep to send her to NHPS. But no one support me.
Even my hubby tell me normal Pri Sch will be enough and if ballot cannot get then decide later. So sian.

Need advise, my current address is in Jurong west, and the popular schools within 1 km are West Grove, Jurong West Pri and Frontier. I am close to buying an under construction property in River Valley, within1 km of River Valley Pri. Which will TOP in 2013. Have confirmed with MOE that the TOP date of new property meets the criteria and can be used for P 1 registration. I am in dilemma, whether I should use RV address to register for RVPS in phase 2c and if unsuccessful, can i use my jurong west address to register under phase 2c at schools near Jurong west, such as xing nan.What are my alternatives?

The address that you plan to use should be the one that you and your child will be staying (ideally) for the six years of the child's education in the school.

No issue with you registering your child in PEPS in P2A, monitor the situation and decide if you want to register with RVPS in P2C.

However, from your earlier post, you seemed to imply that you would use either your address in Jurong or RV, depending on the registration at that time. Where exactly will you be staying? :scratchhead:

Phtthp, while it is true that non-SAP schools do not offer Higher Chinese at lower primary levels, these schools do offer Higher Chinese from P5. Hence, it is misleading to say that non-SAP schools don't teach Di Zi Gui, and just because the schools do not teach Di Zi Gui doesn't mean they do not teach the students \"how to grow up to be a filial & grateful child with gratitude & Thankfulness in her heart,....\". Hence, it would be appreciated if you would avoid such sweeping statements in your posts.

For your information, my children are not in a SAP school but their school taught them Di Zi Gui this year. BTW, they are in lower primary levels this year.

My girl going to p1 next year is in a non SAP primary school but she is studying higher chinese in p1 with Di zhi gui as one of the textbook.

Hi classmonitor

We are currently staying in jw. Peps is at bukit batok, but still nearer than river valley.
If i can get son into rvps at phase 2c, then we will move to rv when ppty TOP. If we are unsuccessful, then we remain in current house at jw and rent out new house.
I prefer rvps than peps.
I am worried about the phase 2c at rvps. For 1km, the chance should be rather good right?
