I am going against the flow again...... No kid gone thru PSLE yet, so not crystal clear yet.....


Why don't make it such that after accepting CO, give choice to skip PSLE. Why go thru' the motion to show a score that no one will care after you get into sec school? Can stipulate time spent on other things like community work, etc. More productive.

If kid/parent is serious in trying again after CO, then opt for PSLE second chance. These will not be frivilous ks cases. Kiasu,yes, but need to work harder for being kiasu...

After all, some go for \"O\" and \"A\" and some skip.

Good idea but they will probably set a DSA entry test call DSA-psle test ..

What I learn is that this is almost not possible. You can only appeal to your 1st-choice school. The 2nd-choice school that you appeal to will not take your appeal as priority.

Correct me if I am wrong.[/quote]2 yrs ago, i appealed to HCI & DHS for my DS & were successful in both although none of these 2 schs were in our 6 choices in e S1 submission. What u need to do is collect the letter of transfer fm e sch u appealed & intended to join n get e principal of the sch where u were originally posted to to sign, then return the signed copy to the appealed sch. For the other successful appeal, we juz politely rejected them & they will then offer the place to the next one on the WL.

My ds says his sch didnt inform him [/quote]DD's principal made the announcement in the hall on 24 November, at the release of PSLE results. Did you call up the G.O? They should have the info by now.
