        1) Go to http://app.sis.moe.gov.sg/schinfo/SIS_AdvSearch.asp

        2) Enter these parameters
        a) Level of Education : Secondary
        b) For PSLE Aggregate (Only applicable for Secondary Schools)
        i) Choose \"Normal Academic\" for Course
ii) Enter \"200\" for PSLE Aggregate

        3) Click on Submit button

You will get \"No Schools Found. Please select again.\"

If you repeat step 2 and 3 but choose \"Express\" for Course, you will get a list of schools.

Also if you look at the results, you will notice that most schools cutoff for Express is 188.

I do knw of someone who scored above 200, qualified for express but opted for NA becos his parents wanted him to b placed in a better sch where the cut-off points was higher than his T-score

            This is interesting !

Did the student get posted to the NA stream (i.e. he indicate he wants to go NA when he selects the 6 choices) or the parent appeals to MOE to let the child goes to NA instead of Express.

I knw he wanted to choose NA right after psle result was out, and he did end up in the sch he had originally wanted, but i do not knw if it was by moe posting or thru appeal. Can u actually indicate if u r applying for express or NA during S1 posting exercise?

                From what I know,
188 to 199 - you can choose between NA and Express
200 and above - Definitely Express

So 200 will not get the kid into the mentioned school as it is too low for the Express stream cutoff. Also 200 is not eligible for NA stream.

Perhaps you can approach MOE to see whether you can appeal to let the kid with 200 score to study NA instead of Express.

Btw, i am guessing which school you are referring to. Is it in the west? If my child get into that west school NA stream, i will ask my child to stay put and work hard to promote to Sec 2 express. I know the school has done alots to help the NA students to promote to Express. Also even if the child fail to promote to express, i still won't mind as there are now more options for students after GCE \"N\" level.
                Errrrrrrrrr ....
Noe of a Case Last year of a Gal get into NA .... With 220 ....
Of Course the Express Cut Off is in the 24X region for that sch she wanted to get in ....

Is there a different for NA students who gained admission to poly after the N Level exam as compared to O level, such as cannot choose ‘hot’ courses?

My friend visited BPGH and the teacher told her that it us extremely difficult for N student to promote to E stream, is it true?

Are you sure one can get into poly with just N level and no O level ?
Then why are so many taking O levels for ?

NA kids take N Lev at Year 4, O Lev at Year 5 (the Same Paper as the rest of the Express Stream Kids) ....
So their O Lev Cert is as \"Genuine-ly\" O Level as it comes, Ha Ha ....
And No Prev N Lev Experience is printed on the Cert! 😆 😆

If the kids score well, be it after 4, or 5 yr in Sec sch ....
No discrimination -la! Can Get into as Hoooooooooooooot a course as they can - All depends on their O Lev Results! 😂 😂

Not true. Some Kids R late Boomers. If they Score well, definitely can apply to transfer
                        And Vice-Versa ....
In My Boy's sch, a kid with very good PSLE score in the Express Stream is down-graded to NA stream after he done badly repeatedly .... And continue to perform badly in the NA stream as well ....
