        Hi

Let me give it a try, I am inclined to go for “since”.

Since is used often with the Present Perfect Tense. It shows the starting time of the action and how it has continued up to the present moment.

        Best wishes

Hi, can someone help me with this :

The class usually wipe/wipes their tables before the lesson starts.
The answer is wipe. Is it because of the word their.

            HI,

I think the reason is that \"Class\" is a group of students and is considered plural. So must use \"Wipe\".

words like Wipes, likes, runs, plays etc are used for singular.

            eg.

            She plays badminton every evening.
            They play badminton every evening.

            Hope this helps 🙂

The plural verb is used because of \"their\", which implies that the class is made up of many individuals. Collective nouns are usually singular, though.

That’s the answer given. But my dd chose "have travelled".

May I know why it is "travelled"…thanks!

                        Hi

                        Good Morning.

Let me give it a try.

They (travelled/have travelled) for many days till they reached the border of the country.

“till they reached the border of the country” is an adverb clause. You may read more about adverb clause by following this link.

                        http://web2.uvcs.uvic.ca/elc/studyzone/410/grammar/advcls.htm

“till” indicates up to that time. It shows the end point of a journey. Hence, based on the context in your question, “travelled” is the more appropriate choice.

                        Best wishes
