Bought uniforms (except jacket, there was an aunty salesperson who wanted to sell us the havoc miniskirt version but politely firmly told her no) - check


Bought textbooks (well almost all) - check

Shoes and bag left. Looking for those black traditional mary-janes from yesteryear but my kid wants those modern chunky comfy velcro ones.

we bought all our stuff too...just need to collect the uniforms;the decent version of course!my gal doesn't wan to wear her goody goody mary janes too....she's wearing the chunky laces ones!!!!

Thank you for your wonderful and kind sharing to us blur newbies. We have withdrawn from Marymount Convent as DD has been offered a place at another school. I wish you and your DDs all the best in their transition into P1 and their exciting journey of learning.

By the way, I was at the bookshop yesterday and the Aunty told me the bible and the textbook covers are in stock.

No idea about the books though. Yes, the aunty is into the swinging sixties Mary Quant look. As a dad, I would never ever be prepared to see my DD in miniskirts!
