Marymount Convent

[phoenix]

Dear All,

Thank you for your wonderful and kind sharing to us blur newbies. We have withdrawn from Marymount Convent as DD has been offered a place at another school. I wish you and your DDs all the best in their transition into P1 and their exciting journey of learning.

By the way, I was at the bookshop yesterday and the Aunty told me the bible and the textbook covers are in stock.

Here’s wishing you and your family a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

Ohdaddy, looks like the uniform aunty is not acquainted with the school rules regarding length of skirts

Are all the textbooks and files in stock? I am waiting for it to in stock before I take the trouble to go down to the school bookshop.

No idea about the books though. Yes, the aunty is into the swinging sixties Mary Quant look. As a dad, I would never ever be prepared to see my DD in miniskirts!

my gal doesn't wan to wear her goody goody mary janes too....she's wearing the chunky laces ones!!!!

The chunky ones look more comfy though I must admit. At least the shoes are black, no need wash.

Hi hi,

Does anyone have any recommendation on school bag?

My girl is in P1 compassion class next year… Being awhile since I am active on this thread, so not sure whether Sch bag was discussed?

As P1 Sch dates drawer nearer, I am nervous as not sure whether I have prepared everything…

You can call the bookshop before you make a trip down. I collected all my stuff last Thursday.

Thanks Gorilla.

We had to order many new books, I was surprised, thought P1 used same books in all schools. Bought uniform and white school shoes. United Uniform Aunty likes to recommend havoc minis while Bibi & Baba Aunty swings to the other extreme and suggested a mid calf pinafore
:scratchhead:

All the best to your DD! Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Wonderful New Year ahead!
