      Hi champion

I am glad you find it good. Hard for me to explain in details why I like it so much and how much it has helped my dd. ๐Ÿ˜„
      Hi! chowon,
Thanks so much for recommending this book; appreciates much :hugs:

I was so excited when I saw those few familiar pages ๐Ÿ•บ ๐Ÿ•บ

Hope that my DD2 will \"co-operate\" and work on the book :xedfingers:

          Hi

My school recommended to buy science process skills from Teachers production. I already bought it. I also saw the following books/booklets in my school bookshop. Did not have the time to browse throโ€™.

Anyone has bought the following from Teachers production?

          P3 Vocabulary and Cloze Passages
          P3 Reading Comprehension
          P3 Language Usage
          P3 Maths Process Skills

          How do you find it?

          Thank you in advance.

Hi, Happyh, I personally don't like teachers production for science process skill, find that their answers too long winded. I can't expect my p3 child to give such a long and detailed answers unless they memorise them.

I've since put them aside and use guide books together with top school papers. This my son manage to score 90.5/100 for his p3 SA2. For CA1, SA1 and SA2, he did well.

However, he did badly for CA2. Later, revised and checked what's really wrong with him, found that he had some misconception on those topics that was taught before. Quickly, revised those topics that was taught in school with him and he came up with the highest marks in class for his SA2.

Sorry, this should be written under science assessment topics. ๐Ÿฆ†

For Maths, I still prefer Andrew Er, having mixture of different difficulty questions. Simon one, I feel too systematic and easier.

For Fabian PSP, too much same kind of questions that I feel that if one already grasp the concept, itโ€™s a waste of time doing repetition work.
Hope the publisher donโ€™t go after me for saying that.
                    Just my sharing.

Thank you for the feedback. My school asked us to buy Science process skills, so no choice. I have all the three Maths assessment you mentioned. Andrew Er worksheets, although it is good, my daughter is not really motivated to do that. So I stopped that for a while. Must revisit now. Thank you again.

                        Happyh,

Fyi, Janet is a very kind soul here in sharing her experience with assessment books. She has more experience than me. I just would llike to follow her good example.

I've previously also made the wrong choices in getting the correct level of book for my kids, as mentioned some is too difficult or some is too easy, also depending on the kids' abilities. So waste $$ but gain some experience.

If someone has share their true opinions on the books, it'll save us parents a lot of $$ and kids not wasting time doing unnecessary things and having more quality time with each other.

Therefore, I do hope that those parents who input information here are true and sincere. :celebrate:
