In choosing a tuition centre, it is important that the class size relatively small to ensure all the students are kept engaged.

Thanks to all. I tried Mindstretcher and took my child out after a term. Class size too big, not much teaching other than flooding them with worksheets. My child now with a private tutor.

SmartLab is good! I recommended a lot of friends to them and most of their children improved :celebrate:

                Original Title: KRTC Or Stalford

Hii all, I need some urgent help.My boy is in primary level, and I need to put him fot tuitions for EMS. I have gone to see KRTC & Stalford Education Centre at Jurong West.

First Impression I got was that KRTC ,the staff there speak well, and when I went to Stalford, the whole place smelled of fried rice and it just seemed like a gloomy environment to study. However, there are many posters at the entrance of students getting good grades for PSLE.

Can parents advise which tuition centre will be better.

I enrolled my boy in Stalford a few years back for P3 english and maths class. he said that the teacher was rushing to finish teaching and didn’t go through in detail. as for the posters with children who do well, i guess the children themselves already are high ability. for my boy who needs more guidance, i think stalford is not really suitable. now he is at krtc where the class size are more small and some good tutors.

Hi chixchix, I feel very dissappointed after i saw my son's worksheets done at Stalford at jurong point. My son jus joined for less than a month. After 2 lessons, i have decided to withdraw him, the worksheets they let him do is like pri 2 or pri 3 standards, its totally out of pri 4 should have standards.. my son is only new student who jus joined at that group so can imagine the exist student there also doing the same worksheets. I am not saying that school is not good, but its is really not up to my expectations , that's why very disappointed.

                      Hi

I am keen to either send my son to one of the centre for english.

most importantly is to enable him to write and able to write .

                      Which centre is good?

i have read through the reviews but seems like most are few years back review.

Anyone kids has been with the center till now., please provide your comments.

Mindstretcher - Bt Batok or Bt Panjang is good???
LCentral - thinking of Bt Timah Plaza one…

Your review is very much appreciated.

                      Thank you
