Lots of reccommendations on Simmons..but seems quite ex. I had a hand-me-down seahorse mattress for my DS already and bought a bedframe from Ikea. Believe in time to come, DS would like to decorate his own room..[/quote]Been to Ikea many times and was also considering on the bed frame but then decided against it and brought from full house furniture the bunk bed instead...crystalbelle:

Fullhouse furniture at Serangoon North?? The one I got from Ikea is of metalframe, with 3 sides protection. Guess they had discontinued the items. -

for the ikea bed, are single beds able to fit..? thought you have to buy the mattress from Ikea also due ot the sizing?
Simmons is shockingly expensive thought people swear by it... -
Kissgurami:
I did not get those from the kids section. I got it from the 'adult' section. So it can fit single size.
