Blur-Block, don't be so worried. You have already put DHS as your 1st choice. So whether you will get in you will know in a week's time. There is nothing much you can do now. Sit tight and wait. What are your 2nd and 3rd choice? -

Booklet stated 257 as minimum Agg Cut Off point, heard that some manage to get in at 254, so it is all depending on demand and supply. However, heard DHS will kick student out if student is not performing up to expectation for school exams. First two years will be tough years to get used to the new systems.
Those who had gotten in at 254 is not under centralised S1 posting.
Could be under appeal cases with special talents, DSA , or probably 254+3.
Kick out of DHS ?? perhaps is becos of behavioural issues, am not too sure of it.
if it is not performing up to expectations, pupils are downgraded to O level class, no kick out,
But there are pupils who rather transferred out to other sec schs, after downgraded to O class. -

Well...since u had already chosen DHS as yr 1 st choice, juz hope for the best.....
Frankly, based on recent yrs of COP for S1 posting,
sad to say that chances of getting in is extremely low.
Do u have special talents to offer to the sch ??
I mean their niche CCAs like CO, string ememble, chinese chance, etc.... -

wait for the outcome and see what u can offer to the sch under appeal case.
Hope yr sec or third choices are within yr Agg score.

With ur results, u can appeal and might be accepted if ur parents are old pupils of DHS.
It does help if ur parents are ex-Dunmanians. -

You are waiting for posting results too. Is your dd's choice DHS too? If both our dds are posted to dhs, perhaps we can exchange notes in future.
sometimes, their subj teachers could be the same teacher....
anyway, most of the notes are the same, as could be viewed in DHS official website,
though some subj teachers ( like history) could provide more notes........
