      G Tan:
They only need to know about types of soil thing when they r in P6, not at lower primary!

Energy at P3/4 is on heat and light energy. Usually the topic of 'energy' is taught in P4 in most schools. Son's school taught 3 topics - 'systems', 'energy' and interaction (magnet) last year.

So how can we bring this matter to MOE? Or are they purposely doing that to get us confuse? What's the Science department in charge doing now??? They had better do something about it. :stompfeet:

For P3, the first topic taught is usually Diversity. That's a lot as diversity is a wide topic. Then after SA1, there is another 'heavier' topic introduced. P4 is the 'jelak' year bcos there are 3 more heavy weights. I thought 'magnet' and heat/light energy are tough, but energy at P6 is worse.

amongst so many Science topics covered - which topic(s) you feel relatively the easiest to comprehend, which topic(s) more challenging ?

For lower block, on the scale of 1 being the easiest to comprehend, 5 the toughest:
                        1) Diversity
                        2) Systems
                        3) Cycles (actually on par with Systems)
                        4) Energy (heat and light)
                        5) Interaction (magnet)

                        Upp block:
                        1) Cycles
                        2) Systems (especially electrical system)
                        3) Interaction
                        4) Energy - all the chemical potential, kinetic etc etc :scratchhead:
