puff:
Hi puff, that doc is not professional enough. My nieces and nephews dont really talk till 3 yo until they attended preschool. Doc also never refer them to specialist. Normally, bb that talks less is more observance of surrounding.
That doc we see is not local ... He didn't check hearing all he do is stare onto the health booklet n say better refer to kk :scratchhead: think tat doc is the 'tai chi' doc (save his ass just refer to other doc)SAHM_TAN:
but each child is different. My older kids also do not always follow the milestones stated in the health booklet.
But since your doc gave you the referral, then just let KKH PD check it out.
Don't worry too much. :hugs:

Therapist diagnose her as the third percentile in language Comprehension and articulation of speech. That puts her at least 12 month behind those of her age. I did not even start her therapy as the best date they gave me is 6 months later. Thought of upgrading to private clinic but no time as doing Confinement then. Without any professional help, She turned out fine now she's going to K2. I realized now that she can talk well, she is more on the quiet side and maybe her personality plays a part.

I’m surprised that bb is holding the pen in the normal writing grip and not the all fingers grip.
We did not teach her, so wondering where she learnt it. -

My friend's daughter can write her name before she turned 2. She said her kid can hold crayon correctly and loves to scribble.

SAHM_TAN, great to hear that ! i thk she picks up from what she sees her siblings are doing… DS still holding with five fingers wrapping the pencil… corrected him over the time… he still prefer his style of gripping, so i let him be… he scribbles lines… in his SM class, some of his frens can draw circle… really good right?
