last year this period, we were all praying hard for good weather. airports closed, flights cancelled/delayed/diverted.


thank God that it was good weather the day before and on the day of departure. i dont know why but something told me to leave the house earlier for airport. told dh and luckily the taxi driver was able to pick us up early.

it was smooth traffic all the way till just a short distance away from airport. it was jam jam jam (yeah, i like strawberry jam ). and though we left, i think was, 2 hours earlier than we initially planned, we only managed to get to airport less than an hr from departure.

i find it difficult to get a trollery everytime i was there. luckily our driver managed to get one for us. but horror, the entrance to the airport was crowded with people. apparently there were too many people in the airport and so only those who have a valid ticket to fly on that day were allowed in. all others must wait outside. of course, there were unhappiness and shouting etc. i nearly lost sight of my two kids because people werent giving way, dh and i had luggages in our hands. managed to get thru finally after some pushing and shoving.

but when we saw the queues at the counter :faint: :faint: :faint: .

i think we were among the last few to get onboard. and ours was the only flight that day (am flight). all other flights were cancelled after that.

now praying hard for good weather again.........

You flights so eventful de.. ..mine quite the usual, only experience 6 hours delay out of Sg. Plus the 14 hrs flight time really scratching wall before landing siah.. :faint:

when the air crew announced that the entertainment system for the whole plane was down, we the parents were like :scared: :yikes: :faint: .

anyway, we have just a few more days before 2012 comes knocking.


i remember for the first few years of our marriage, my dh and i somehow or other always managed to kick up a quarrel on the last day of the year.

cant remember which year it was, but in the middle of the row, i was like \"wait, i think i said the same thing to you last year\". then the whole situation seemed like a replay and yeah, it was kinda like same thing happened last year and the year before.

after that, we tried not to quarrel on the last day of the year (to break the tradition ).
