My dd said that a boy in her class is already doing p6 math. He's bored in class, poor fella. His mom is a teacher. Anyway, I believe my dd will lose out in math because of no training.

You mean teacher has inside info what to train? Pls do keep all of us update whether he get selected.
Sounds like quite an exciting day for your dd with her tooth falling out in the middle of the GEP test. Take heart. Getting into GEP doesn't guarantee her a place in her dream secondary school. And anyway, she can always get in via her PSLE results and still be entitled to the EESIS scholarship. Good luck!

Goodness! EESIS scholarship requires one to get 262 and above to be qualified for it.I'll be ecstatic if she gets 250.

What 'bus' are you all talking about? You sound like there's a bus specially to pick the kids up.

πŸ™‚ Assuming RGS or NYGH are her dream schools, she would need minimum 263 to get in via PSLE, so she would definitely qualify for EESIS. Anyway, it's still some years more. :)
If the child is from NYPS, no need to follow PSLE cut-off and that may mean need to pay to 200+ to 300+ a month at NYGH. Rich parents try to do transfer of their DD at lower primary.

Hi. I am a P3 student. I have just taken the GEP test too. I feel like some other parents that the test is easy. Not to say really easy, but just a little bit below average. I think that its not the difference between who says its hard or easy, its just about your abilty to do the paper

Oh it is because they divided it into Part 1 and 2 and they have different times. But it is quite puzzling as they divide the 2 parts into different sections again. Hope this helps. I am a student who got thru the first round too.
