score > 250:-

Nanyang ~ 45% (include GEP) ~120 from Mainstream?
RGPS - 41.3% (include GEP) ~100 from Mainstream
Nan Hua ~ 40% (include GEP)
TaoNan - 32.4 % (include GEP ??)

Pei Hwa ~ 40% or 26% ?
Rulang ~ 16% - 60 pupils
Kong Hwa ~ 16%
Maha Bodhi - 43 pupils

How come Rulang % above 250 so low considering their % for express is so high and no of 4A*s also quite high ?

Looking at the above statistics, it seems to me that the GEP pupils have helped to 'pump' up the % by at least 15% ?? IMO, if we really want to compare, perhaps it's fairer to compare apple vs apple ie. mainstream students only. :skeptical:
don't think pei hwa has 40% scoring more than 250

NYPS's gep is only 100, not 120

agree.

great if can separate out Mainstream data from GEP.
in fact our target, separate.
also prefer focus more on Mainstream - majority of kids in Mainstream.

unfortunately, parents often find hard to get detailed info.
can only do ... with whatever info collected.
in the first place it was those schools that have been consistently well performing above national average to be selected as GEP centre

Catholic High primary

(include GEP)
99 pupils scored >= 250
42 pupils scored >= 260

25 pupils with 4A *

CHS has around 50 GEP boys (from 2 GEP classes, around 25 per class).
subtract (99 - 50) ==> approx. 49 pupils from Mainstream scored >=250
