Haha - I happened to be in the area, so went to the bookshop to ask if the booklist for Sec 1 is out yet. So I buy first lor. So on Thursday, I don't have to sweat in the crowd queuing! Can imagine.

Yeah, I will be one of those queuing up at DD's school!
If only her school bookshop is as flexible!

Er, why cannot? Just ask, lah. I tried calling the bookshop on my way there, but no one answered the phone. 😜 But since I was already going there, I drop in to ask, lor.
For RI sec one books alone abt 290+ (excluding pe attire and jersey)

Those who had made the reservesion for sec one books can collect them
On 22nd dec @ blk B . They accept nets/credit cards or cash

:yikes: About $300 for books alone? Wow!
Does the school use the books in the first place?

IPs use a lot of notes and worksheets to teach. Books are mainly for reference. But some textbooks are for Year1-2. Year 2 booklist spending may be minimal.
Year 2 book list cost less less than $75

Cannot buy before 22.

šŸ™ All the best, Bbee. :xedfingers:

Btw, what're your choices? Care to share? šŸ˜„

Thanks MummyStay. SJI is our first choice, but we are borderline case hence at this point in time, which school we get posted to is really anyone's guesses. So will be waiting patiently for the D-day šŸ˜„ :xedfingers:
Bbee,

Do remember to come here and share with us the good news! šŸ˜„

Should you not be able to sleep the night before, come here too and chat.
We do have a lot of night birds here. šŸ˜‰

Overall, about the same as most sec schools then. šŸ˜„

But when my dh placed an order for the sec 1 books (over the phone), there was nothing black and white like a purchase order or something. So how to retrieve the books? U mean just give ds name only?
