      Castle House:
Glad my boy is happy going to BASC..

but learn from another one of the parent.. whom we happen to know.. he will be withdrawing the kid from the centre.. comments.. the Teachers.. will beat the student... and the Teacher will chase away kids who are slow in learning..sigh.. will monitor and see how..
that is kind of extreme.. can a BASC even continue operating like that?

                      MintyMin:

Too bad my DS say no to me doing bento for him.. as he prefer to spend $$$ :skeptical:
ya both my sons want to have pocket money and want to buy their own noodles and rice. ds1 has been doing that for 2 yrs and now his bro can't wait to follow in his footsteps so i guess i need not pack any lunches. unless in future dd wants!

ds2 canteen not ready yet lei, can't even see what stalls they have, so can't advise him on food choices.

did so for elder one last time during orientation. showed him all the stalls and suggested he should eat soup noodles or rice and veg/ meat type. chicken rice was $1.50 so i said better not buy that. told him if very hungry then buy pau. also showed him the different pau available at the tidbits stall.

then showed him drink stall and the prices and told him pls don't buy drinks cos if he wants, got water bottle. if really want, should bring the Milo or fruit juice packet from home.

showed him (the prices) that it's much cheaper to buy in bulk from NTUC then pack from home.

now for ds2, no chance yet... hope the school will let parents in to the school when canteen is finally open lei. hor peipei?

FPS one is something like several structures from climbing, swinging, sliding that kind. is that right, peipei?
