Not to be biased, but I can safely say that the comments about VS in this thread are largely true.

LKY visited DHS. Goh Chok Tong officiate the opening. 2 PMs of Singapore visited the school in a yr. says alot about the school. A more established IP school. Teachers already well tuned for IP. cannot say the same for new IP schools.

Students wil certainly benefit from that. My view is that a new IP school will need time to get use to the programme. Teachers will be feeling their way around and new teachers coming in will need to adjust too.

DHS produced a President's Scholar and has a MOU with the famous Fudan University in China. Students wil certainly benefit from that. My view is that a new IP school will need time to get use to the programme. Teachers will be feeling their way around and new teachers coming in will need to adjust too.

I thought DHS is quite new with IP too, they only had 1 or 2 JC batches?

A few years back, the COPs for most schools were higher than the last 2 years (you will see RGS COP used to be 265). COPs seems to be \"dropping\" over the years. So this is not a VS only scenario.

The P made a speech this yr that \"we take only few years to reach the standard/performance of NJC A level batch,
Where the latter took a longer period to attain it\".
(though i am not too sure which category of percentage he was referring to).
