        Hi Qms,

Actually SP2 will be nearer to my place. I've tried to call NUS LV but the lady told me that their wait list is full as well. I don know how i can contact Joanne to ask if i can pay a deposit for next year programme. If i cant get into learning vision than i hope that i can get a space in LSH.
Hi Fion, what about the waiting list for LV@IBP? They are having a new centre there soon right? I know other than Kent Vale, LV has a centre at Temasek Lifesciences too.

          Hi Yella,

Curently there's no waitlist for the IMP centre because is a brand new centre . U may call learning vision mainline to check with them. And they will ask the incharge to contact u šŸ™‚

Please update me if you receive any news from her.

Sure. Let me try to recall....

              0800-0900: Breakfast

0900-1100: I don't remember how they split (either half hourly or 45 minutes duration) but they will cover English, Maths, Art & Craft, outdoor activities during these two hours. Of course, they don't have, for instance, Maths, everyday. Perhaps three times a week?

1100-1215: Shower followed by lunch, or vice-versa. As this is a big centre, some children take shower before their lunch because the shower rooms cannot accommodate everyone.

1215-1300: Continue with lessons, usually English.

              1300-1500: Nap time.

1500-1545: Children wake up from their afternoon naps, pack their mattress cover, etc. and proceed to their afternoo snacks.

1545-1700: Chinese lessons (for kindergarten levels. For lower levels, eg. nurseries or toddler, it's play time after the afternoon tea).

You may find the time-slot allocated per lesson rather long, but it includes class work and assignments, too.

For LV@NUS, you have the option of signing your child up for their optional programs. Classes for optional programs start at 3.30 pm, 45 minutes or one hour per week. For the older kids who have Chinese lessons after tea break, if they sign up for the optional programs, the Chinese teachers are expected to conduct extra lessons for them before or after the lessons for the optional programs.

As mentioned previously, LV@NUS offers the English Speech and Drama this year as part of the core program.

Oh yes! Currently, LV@NUS doesn't offer half-day program. You may pick up your child after lunch, but you still pay the same price as the full day program. You may like to take note of this.

                  Hi Fion!

Actually, I am quite surprised that the published rate for LSH is higher than Learning Vision.

LSH charges $950 per month before subsidy, while Learning Vision will be charging $850 per month before subsidy.

Hi qms, me too is one of the parents of the exising kids at LV@NUS. Hard decision whether to follow them to SP2.

                    Pro:
                    1. Teachers are familiar and overall good.
                    2. Curriculum are satisfied.

                    Cons:
                    1. Fee is slightly more exp, $40+gst diff. Not sure if LSH will revise the fee yearly? Need to check out next week.
                    2. Parking only 15 min grace period. My kids normally take their own sweet time.
                    3. Centralized office aircon, meaning could be too cold during rainy days especially.

                    Pro LSH:
                    1. Fee lower.
                    2. Published rate is higher than LV@SP2, more worth it? šŸ˜‰

                    Cons:
                    1. Curriculum unknown good. But I saw those extra classes not cheap, $250 to $290 for 10 sessions.
                    2. There is stupid $100 registration fee
                    3. Uniform needs to buy new. $21 per set.
                    4. Teachers and principal dunno good or not.
