I didn't send DD1 for any enrichment class all these years, how huh :yikes: so many of you talking abt eng, chinese, maths n even science classes :oops: :faint:

yup. H is supposed to be pronounced as \"aitch\", so the vowel \"a\" comes into play, so use \"an\"

But for words such as horse, hospital whereby the blowing sound of H is not silent, will use \"a\" like a horse, a hospital.

Din study phonic when young so don know... Expect dd to know since she learn phonic... Think i have a easier life...

:rotflmao: the silent consonant should begin in P2? P1 is really a bit too early unless Bigsnoopy's DD is working on P2 assessments :rotflmao: , if this is the case we need a bigger lead to catch up :imanangel:
