According to my ds, 7.40am must reach school and lessons start at 8.15am. Dismissal time is, imho, erratic!!

Also as additional info for an earlier post for mep, to qualify, need min grade 3 practical and theory. If not, need to go for audition. Even with min grades, may also be asked to go for audition.

REally erratic? I see the sec school boys seem to end quite early around 2pm?

I wonder how tomorrow's reporting day would be. Would there be briefings also by MEP?

My boy wants to do MEP and has all the minimum requirements - practical should be no problem, but theory and aural might be a problem since he is not trained in western music.

If I did not remember wrongly, last year, there wasn't much of an mep briefing. Just some simple slides and that's it, then go find the teacher-in-charge to get a form to submit together with photocopies of practical and theory certs. School general office can photocopy for you but they charge! Then wait for call-up for audition. I waited and waited but no news. In the end, my ds went in without an audition. Some of his friends went for it.

Normally, Mon and Fri dismiss at 1.45pm. Tues to Thurs 2.25pm. Sometimes dismiss later, depends on the teachers. If got CCA, worse! Band has 3 days of practice, usually will dismiss at about 6pm or even later. Other CCAs may have different dismissal times and number of CCA days. To enrol for a CCA also must go for selection/audition. Then you pick 3 choices, provided the CCA also picks you!

Think tomorrow they should give out form to sign up.

Sign up first lor. If later don't want can still don't come one.
