Is there an Over-nite Camp for year 1 on 1st Fri weekend?

My Gal is Interested in 2 core CCA, can she join both?

Yeah, there will be an overnight camp followed by an orientation tea where the year ones will be performing a play that they're been working on throughout the week and parents will be invited!

And she can only be the core member of one cca, so she'll have to join the other cca as a merit member. Eg. I am core member of Handbells and merit member of Mind Sports.

I think so, it depends on the girl and the coach's willigness to let her in the team. My friend has 4 Merit CCAs haha. Or was it 3? She just has a lot of CCAs and one of them is Track and Field.

DSA Girls generally have to join the CCA they DSAed in for. Like if the girl DSAed in through swimming then she has to join Swimming CCA.

For CCAO, it's going to be held in the canteen and koi pond (at least, this is how it was this year) and every CCA will have a booth. It's going to be like some big crowded CCA pasar malam. Every CCA will try to attract interested Year Ones. Parents are there to gain info on each CCA through the booths and hopefully advise their daughters? :imcool: People will be walking around like that trying to 'sell' their CCA!

You mean the Koi pond area, and not the pond. Oh and the hall too. There are also performances put up by the PAs:)
