What Exactly R Parents Role on the Day?

Yeah, there will be an overnight camp followed by an orientation tea where the year ones will be performing a play that they're been working on throughout the week and parents will be invited!

And she can only be the core member of one cca, so she'll have to join the other cca as a merit member. Eg. I am core member of Handbells and merit member of Mind Sports.

If it's Sports CCA, Can Join 2nd one as Merit Member -meh?

I think so, it depends on the girl and the coach's willigness to let her in the team. My friend has 4 Merit CCAs haha. Or was it 3? She just has a lot of CCAs and one of them is Track and Field.

DSA Girls generally have to join the CCA they DSAed in for. Like if the girl DSAed in through swimming then she has to join Swimming CCA.

For CCAO, it's going to be held in the canteen and koi pond (at least, this is how it was this year) and every CCA will have a booth. It's going to be like some big crowded CCA pasar malam. Every CCA will try to attract interested Year Ones. Parents are there to gain info on each CCA through the booths and hopefully advise their daughters? :imcool: People will be walking around like that trying to 'sell' their CCA!

DSA Girls generally have to join the CCA they DSAed in for. Like if the girl DSAed in through swimming then she has to join Swimming CCA.

You mean the Koi pond area, and not the pond. Oh and the hall too. There are also performances put up by the PAs:)

Don't think you can sign up for trials on the day, but you can 'indicate your interest' with certain booths and then the CCA might email your daughter about trials. Announcements will be up everywhere when trials do come, which will definitely be after Orientation Week is over

Meaning that ALL CCA will resume Practice / Training for Seniors from Wk 2 onwards, when the Trials R Conducted?
