Appt is preferred as they will usually advise but so far, I have always walk in as I would usually go like 8am. The nurses said 8 - 9am is not their busy hour. I suppose she can’t be only specialise in cough but her medicine did work for my gal. She is from China and is a Professor.

Hi fatmommy
I bring my DS to Econhealth at Bishan St 11 (they also hv other branches in Jurong etc). He is seeing Dr Koh (e professor), she is professional and good with kids.
My DS gets cough and flu every 2-3 weeks for the past year and after visiting her for few mths, his condition improves with her tuina and medicine. And even if he does starts to sneeze or cough,he recovers v fast, unlike previously, he can continuously take 3 weeks of western medicine but still will not recover.
Hope that helps! :rahrah: :rahrah: -

Hi!
You can try Ma Guang or Eu Yan Sang. However, whether it is effective or not depends not on the clinics but the physicians who are there. My kids visit a lady physician at Sembawang's EYS (Wu Min yi shi) and Ma Guang at Marsiling. The lady physician at Toa Payoh EYS is also not bad (Wu Zhen yi shi). There used to be a very good male physician at Jurong East's EYS, but I think he left. We tried the EYS at NEX once, also very effective, but I can't recall who it was.
EYS seemed cheaper than Ma Guang. Probably got to do with the medications prescribed.
Hope this helps. -

The tel no is 66590217. Bishan St 11 Blk 152.
Website : http://www.econhealthcare.com/achievements.html (but bishan branch is not updated yet)
You must call to make appt. Dr Koh is only there on selected timings on Tue, Fri and Sat - she is at other clinics under Econhealth on other days.
I usu pay abt $60-$80, incl consultancy fee, tuina and medicine (large bulk of it is the medicine $). -

Hi,
Through my experience, stubborn cough with blocked nose in most cases may be caused by post nasal drip, whereby the root of the problem lies with the nose. You may want to try out Herbal-Basic TCM at Havelock Road, as they are quite specialized in treating nose problems.
My 2 kids used to suffer from this, but after few treatments (external therapy with no oral medication), they recovered well.
Their fee is quite reasonable, range between $30+ to $40+ per treatment.
Hope this helps. -
