daisyt, didn't intend to convince you...just shared coz I don't know how to deal with this. I hear that children tend to outgrow this...others believe that we rely less and less of this 6th sense and since it is not \"exercised\", it remains dormant unless or until you are not your usual self (e.g., sick or fatigue).
OK Andaiz ... now I choose to believe she has some kind of \"sixth sense\". Too many coincidence.
It's just that I don't know what to do with this or how to deal with it...especially when she has that \"I told you so\" look :stupid: -

Once in a blue moon, in places where I can't possibly have knocked or hit against.
Bruises take some time to become obvious. e.g. If you knocked yourself in the middle of the night, unlikely it became blue-black in a few hours, more likely it occured in the day before you went to bed.
Hmmmm, could it be bruising? If so, then I agree that you've to seek medical attention. Do you still suffer from it, winth?Andaiz:
Hey, what about the blue-blacks that appear on thighs? Will there actually be scientific and medical explanations for them?

Mine not bruises but long scratches. Not just on me but my dh too. Usually his will be deeper than mine. I suspect my living room cause two years back when I took a picture, there was an orb on the wall. Recently I took another family photos & there this time the orb looks bigger.
Besides the appearance of an orb in the living room picture, there was once we were watching a movie at night. The room was in total darkness as the movie was on projector. After the movie ended, I went to the toilet to clean up my face before sleeping. As the water drips below my neck, I felt a sharp sting. Had a look in the mirror, thereβs 3 long deep scratch mark below my neck. Told dh & he showed me on his tummy one short scratch mark which is deeper & redder than mine. -

It's weird that this thread is suddenly revived - after the 7th month. Or are you guys preparing for Halloween?

Funny Scary story, here!
Once, I was walking, the road was at peace with the world, not even a leaf was moving. An uneasy feeling crept over me as I turned into a dark, decrepit, alley. I started to pick up pace walking the long route instead of in that alley, worried that there would be somebody waiting for me in there...
\"Finally!\" I said in exasperation as I neared my destination. Sweating profusely from all the running, I checked my watch, splattered with fresh sweat. I was still early! I could make it on time!
I stumbled into the crowd of anxious faces, tired. The minute I sank down into a chair, I saw a horrific sight! \"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!\" I screamed in horror.
It was...

I agree on the part where it takes time to become obvious...
For our case, DD2 has it like on her shins and thighs mostly..
And usually when she wakes up in the morning it already shows..
When the nite before, we don't recall seeing any bruises whatsoever
when she was tucked in to bed. However though, now that i think about
it... .... i dun recall her complaining that the \"nite bruises\" hurt or
anything like that..
Usually if a child gets bruised resulting from falls
or knocks, the child will mention some pain involved while the bruising
clears.. but not these \"nite bruisings\".... -
Urrgghhh.... The flying uncle. :!: I used to study late in the morning, usually up at midnight and marathon till 5 am before sleeping. I love to open the window wide, move my study table in front of the window & face a tree (parent's place on 2nd floor). My mum always been telling me not to do that but I found it refreshing and cooling. Thank god I don't chance to see flying uncle or auntie. If I see one, I sure.... :faint:
Andaiz, I often heard from people that the sixth sense or the ability to see \"things\" will go away as the child grows older. But I have a colleague who told us that she can see things until her adult year. She loses her ability to see \"things\" after she gave birth to her 1st child. Then she realizes that her ability to see has actually been passed down to her daughter. She came to know it by accident. She went to pick up her daughter from CC around 6.45pm, walk past through a carpark with a huge tree (coincidently, CC is located at my parents block). Her daughter kept on pointing at the tree and said \"the lady sit\". About the \"lady sit' on the huge tree, that's not the first time we heard. My parent's neighbour saw it too, when she woke up around 4 am & the lady was sitting at a higher branch. -
The night bruises, I heard from my parents that those things come at night to bite. I do agree some can be bruising due to knocks and bumps in the morning. But some just canβt be explain by logic.
