      Hello every one,

I am new to this forum. May I know where could I find this brand Superbee Active UMF 15+ Manuka Honey in Singapore?

I have been trying my luck to find them in guardian pharmacies but seem to find other brands instead.

I have a bottle of 500g New Zealand Premium Honey ACTIVE MANUKA, UMF 15+, costing S$60. After adding water to it, it turns and smells cheesy. Could anyone explain why?

Sil gave me a bottle of Manuka honey Active 24. She said she bought it from Nature Farm. May i know is this ok for 3 years old kid? Is Manuka honey consume in the morning on empty stomach or in the evening?

How much should 3 years old consume?

I read somewhere that we should use a wooden or plastic spoon to scoop out the manuka honey?

          Thanks!

I think Manuka is ok for kids above 1 year old.

Recently we started manuka + fresh royal jelly (1 tsp each). My son seems to cough less. I hope that my pigmentation will be better too.

Note that cannot be refrigerated and cannot use metal spoon. Something to do with destroying enzymes.

We actually bought from sun moon lake in Taiwan during our recent trip. But they are selling the fresh version at honeyworld. Around S$250 for 500g.

Do you guys take manuka honey only when needed like sore throat, cough or take it as a drink?

My family takes it daily. My dd drinks a glass of avocado Manuka honey milk every morning with her breakfast. Kids need high protein breakfast for concentration in school. DH drinks the same for sports recovery after soccer games with his kakis. We also take it neat from bottle say 1 teaspoon as it's quite delicious. I read somewhere that it is best taken undiluted and into empty stomach and let body digest it for awhile before eating other food. I use UMF15 type. Robinson is having a sale from 5-15 JAN for HOneyworld brand. $72 selling for $49+ for umf15 Manuka 500g. They also have other honey offers.

I take Manuka Honey UMF 10+, it contains enough antibacterial activity to help with sore throats. So long as you are buying UMF manuka honey you know its been tested and you are buying geninue manuka honey from New Zealand. For best results take 30mins before food, neat on a spoon.

Are there any promotion anywhere recently? I have never tried manuka honey before and would like to give it a try, especially for my boy who occasionally has blocked nose problem.
