Ang Peng Siong Swimming School

Hi there,
Would appreciate feedback. I am considering this swim school for my 4 year old son.
Many thanks

Just go and try them out! Worked for some, not for all. Depends on your child. Worked for my girls.

wow, 2ppaamm, long time no ‘see’!

Yeah, term is over for the kids, so I get to look-see look-see here a bit. How time flies! Wah just had a really nice dinner at Southbank (I’m in Brisbane), a break from all the cooking…

Wow, that’s nice!

Understand that need to go for an assessment & employed many PRC swimming coaches. Maybe APS can train the child become Asia Flying Fish!

Very structured. Progress depends on how easily the child takes to water. Some kids progress very fast, others take a long time. DS1 was with them previously. I couldn’t take the parking crazy (at farrer park) and switched to private coaching.

My daughter withdrew
after being coached by one of the PRC coaches. She started with local coaches but changed once she reached advance stage - two more stages to go before graduation. Her PRC coach was totally irresponsible - a young guy named Lee. He simply asked the students to swim here there w/o correcting their strokes. Made jokes & walked around. My daughter & another student (friend of mine) now continuing with private trainer. Think APS should seriously look at engaging PRC coaches. :imdrowning: -
Sorry, not quite updated. Friend enrolled her kid under a local. He is very good. Hers was scared of water, but somehow overcame her fear under him. Guess its a lot of luck.

hquek,
Care to share the charges of the private coach? Male or female? Just to want to have a backup plan if the current swimming school keep changing coaches.
