would like to check when will the bus operator confirm the time of pick up and location? till this moment it is still pending. Wondering if this is normal and maybe they will call up on 2nd Jan 2012?

called them three times already also no answer n never return call.

I received a call abt 2 days ago informing of pick up time & location. The person said bus driver will call again to confirm bus nbr. I hope he calls soon....

Is there any other bus operator that I can sign up with them?
Else we will just send our son to school ourselves.
Looks like we are at their mercy n can only sit there and wait.

Bus fare is $60 per trip from Hougang.
Two way will be $70+ (cannot remember). But our boy will be dropped off at another Hougang location so they charge us $60 for the return trip. Total fare will be $120 per month! Bus 18 for the morning trip n Bus 29 for the return trip.

I am afraid you have no choice but to use this bus operator. It is monopolised by one company. The school did mention they sought for 3 quotes and this operator gave the best rates. We send our kid to school in the morning and he only takes the return trip by bus.

Actually I'm quite ok with my school bus guy! So far, no major complains!

if i n sendg my boy n also pickg him at dismissal, m i allowd to enter the main gate n wait ourside gen ofc or will the guard chase me away n ask me strictly enter or wait or side gate near mrt as stated in orientatn bk?

Tell me about monopolizing.... I did'nt know how x it was until I had to made arrangements (with another monopoly) for my DS from TLC to home....about $110/mth...(& its 1-way) & I live in Macpherson/Circuit Road area....was told that cost is high as only 1 other student in my area :moneyflies:

Tomorrow is Tues. No need. Ties only on Mondays.


Parents can wait outside the general office for pickup but your cars cannot come into the school compound. You must park elsewhere. Cars can only come in 20mins after dismissal time or after the buses leave.

BTW, dun even think of parking at Ramakrishnan Mission carpark. They complained to the school authorities already. Park along How Sun Road if you must.
