      Thanks for the link!

I recently found out that DS is dyslexic - more precisely, he has visual processing & visual spatial issues.

Apart from your link, those interested may also want to read the book entitled \"The Gift of Dyslexia\" by Ronald D. Davis.

I just started reading to have a better understanding on how to help DS. The author is dyslexic too.

    • RE: Renewal of passport - who pays?

      MrsSeah:
What I did was to get my maid to pay for the renew first. Tell her that if she worked 2 years for me, I will reimburse her. If she break her contract 1/2 way thru, than I wouldn't pay for her.

      That's great advice MrsSeah!

      Will take note of this!

    • RE: Maid issue : MOM came & took maid away

      ksi:
Personally I feel that we are culturally quite different from the Indos and Pinoys so if the twain never meet especially living under the same roof, tough to have a resolution

as in all forms of communication & relationship, it requires 2 'involved parties'...if I may borrow an old adage \"it takes 2 hands to clap\"....yes we are definitely culturally different...we were raised differently, we have different values & belief....both parties must be willingly to recognize and accept these diversities..

hmmm, thinking very hard. but was wondering if lemons apply to maids provided by agencies. The act of introduction is a service also mah.

Looking at the threads below...I think many people with vested interests would have their respective field day to voice their concerns....

      Hello peers,

Anyone gotten maid from the above branch before? Is it good?
Hi Anlynn...we have tried Homekeeper from another branch, generally service quite good. We tried the one at Bukit Timah.

      Good Luck!
