        hi all,

any advice on which calling card is more value for $$ for mine maid to call back philippine ( moblie number) ?

need to buy one for mine maid to call her family in philippine during her 2 years here....

        thanks!

We always buy the Singtel Hello card for our filipino helper..

Singtel hello card will give you most minutes and best connection. Some neighborhood will sell a $10 card for $9 and talk time is almost an hour.

Sunshine calling card has very cheap rate too, but sometimes the connection can be a little bad. Most of the time, it’s good.

so far I’ve tried the Home Connect Card (by the green provider) but recently I learnt that SingPost sells these type of cards too…its called SMILE…have not tried it but a $5 card can call Indo on Hp about 50 minutes…if I remember correctly.

just found out the details from singtel

using hi card to call philippine (assume calling within 8pm-8am)

                1st min - 34cents/min
                2nd to 8th min-22cents/min
                9th to 18th min-8cents/min

so it will cost $2.68 / per 18 min .
