actually kids less than 10 yrs old eats very little as they most probably havnt reach puberty yet. So cost is an impt factor to consider.

Apparently my neighbours love the one at Safra Tampines. They go there on average once every 2 - 3 months! Both the so-called International Buffet at Sakaru Restuarant, at Science Centre and Clementi Woods Park, gets my thumb down ... But I have heard that the Sakaru Restuarant at Toa Payoh and Pasir Ris are [relatively] good. At $26 nett per adult for an international buffet dinner, guess can't really complain much.

Is it easy to get to dine there during the bdae?
At 111 years old, then it's 100% discount (ie FREE) + Shangrila must pay her 11% for going there to dine. :lol:Funz:
So Centenarians like Theresa Hsu get paid to go Shang to celebrate their birthays. haha
She is 111yrs old according to the latest report.
My wife tried calling 1 month in advance and got rejected as the restaurant was full already.
She even called at 830am in the morning to make sure that she should be first...
but...
Anyone else has got better luck -

Hi,
Can anyone suggest a nice (reasonably priced) place to have International Buffet?
Preferably with Japanese food as one of the spread mix.
Thanks. -
Hi winth,

Eh, no offence, but we were rather disappointed by the limited choice at a recent lunch. No durian pengat, salmon sashimi was miserably kept in a glass shelf accessible by the chef only. The ice cream was the potong type. For this price, there are other better places to go to.My another half and I loves the international buffet at Straits Cafe at Rendezvous Hotel. Slightly more pricey than $30 nett, but worth every cents.
