      hi meeyah,

i think Berries at tampines central seems pretty good.
my gal is now attending the class without me.
the teachers there are patient, they even recommend i stay in with my gal if she really can't get used to attend the class alone.
but i want her to attend the class alone as i feel that she will learn more if i am not sitting besides her.
now after each class, the teacher wil tell my gal in chinese, \" you are so clever girl today, so brave. i see you next week ok?\"
giving encouraging words to my dd.
my dd wil tell me, the teacher says i very clever in mandarin

        Hi

I'm enquiring on behalf of my sister who has a Pri 1 child & a K1 child... She is unsure which Chinese class to send both her children ... as she doesn't hv the time to attend the trial lessons (if any) ... she was thinking of Molin - anyone has any feedback to share? Thanks.

I actually recommended her Tien Hsia or Berries as i only know these 2... but now she asked me abt Molin..so i decided to check out more šŸ™‚

Altho i m fully aware ...to each his own.. and we have to assess our own needs vs the centre's teaching styles & evaluate what might interest our kids most, i thought it doesn't hurt to also listen to what other parents' hv to say ... their invaluable insights/inputs /views ... So, All comments /feedback welcome šŸ™‚ xie xie ni.

Ps: pai say this thread is just too long... almost impossible for me to scroll thru every page ... hence this post... šŸ™‚

            Hi,

My kids go to Molin, P2, P1 and nursery and i swear by it.

P2 started since K2 which we saw her chinese improved significantly.

P2 is in top 2nd chinese class while my P1 is in top 3 chinese class. Both are in SAP school.

Molin has lots of TNS, Kong Hwa and MBS students. Observed that most of my P2’s school mates who attend Molin are also in top chinese classes. Principal used to be ex-TNS teacher. I heard that they have some tie up program with TNS.

No franchise and only 1 outlet. So in that sense, all attn are concentrated there.

Teachers are all from China. Fees are very very reasonable especially for that kind of quality we are getting. Eg. fees for preschool is around $75 per month and $96 for primary.

Pls let me know if you need more info.

Hmm... top 3 class? How many classes are there? My kids are in SAP school too, and there are only 6 class in p1. Top 3 class would be like half?

                Hi Maisey,

Take the time to go through the entire thread then you have a better picture. Personally I had visited the following training centre & view the training materials until I almost :!:

                (1) Molin Tutorial Centre
                (2) Yuquan Lang Centre
                (3) Xueni Lang Centre
                (4) Han Lang Centre
                (5) Jiang Education Centre
                (6) Eduplus Lang ( They don't let me see the training materials)
                (7) Berries

Do you think it helps to save cost? Say if I sent my older kid to enrichment class then use the materials to teach the younger kid instead of having to send 2 kids to the enrichment class. Finally I finish reading the whole of this thread and quite a no. of mummies think it is very expensive to send kids to Berries!

Thanks chibi for the feedback on Berries at Tampines Central.

They should have 11 classes. The kids are told explicitly by their teachers which class they belong to otherwise it is not transparent to the parents.

Wow I would suggest not to teach on your own unless you are very very good. There are so many chinese language centre around in Singapore.Should have one can suit your budget.
