      MMM:

P2 is in top 2nd chinese class while my P1 is in top 3 chinese class. Both are in SAP school.
      .
Hmm... top 3 class? How many classes are there? My kids are in SAP school too, and there are only 6 class in p1. Top 3 class would be like half?

        Hi Maisey,

Take the time to go through the entire thread then you have a better picture. Personally I had visited the following training centre & view the training materials until I almost :!:

        (1) Molin Tutorial Centre
        (2) Yuquan Lang Centre
        (3) Xueni Lang Centre
        (4) Han Lang Centre
        (5) Jiang Education Centre
        (6) Eduplus Lang ( They don't let me see the training materials)
        (7) Berries

        Hi
I'm enquiring on behalf of my sister who has a Pri 1 child & a K1 child... She is unsure which Chinese class to send both her children ... as she doesn't hv the time to attend the trial lessons (if any) ... she was thinking of Molin - anyone has any feedback to share? Thanks.

I actually recommended her Tien Hsia or Berries as i only know these 2... but now she asked me abt Molin..so i decided to check out more πŸ™‚

Altho i m fully aware ...to each his own.. and we have to assess our own needs vs the centre's teaching styles & evaluate what might interest our kids most, i thought it doesn't hurt to also listen to what other parents' hv to say ... their invaluable insights/inputs /views ... So, All comments /feedback welcome πŸ™‚ xie xie ni.

Ps: pai say this thread is just too long... almost impossible for me to scroll thru every page ... hence this post... πŸ™‚

you just have to click on each of the 32 page and use the ctrl+F function to locate molin's comments.

          Jedamum,

How to use this function? When I click is always bring me the 1st page where have Molin!

Do you think it helps to save cost? Say if I sent my older kid to enrichment class then use the materials to teach the younger kid instead of having to send 2 kids to the enrichment class. Finally I finish reading the whole of this thread and quite a no. of mummies think it is very expensive to send kids to Berries!

Thanks chibi for the feedback on Berries at Tampines Central.

They should have 11 classes. The kids are told explicitly by their teachers which class they belong to otherwise it is not transparent to the parents.

Wow I would suggest not to teach on your own unless you are very very good. There are so many chinese language centre around in Singapore.Should have one can suit your budget.

I am actually thinking of Molin when my kids go to primary school. Is it convenient to travel from Tampines to Katong? That's where Molin is at right? Now maybe to Berries.. I just wonder whether it is feasible.. Just a thought to recycle the materials to teach the younger child, but then that does not mean I am very very good. Who knows there are existing mummies who really do that, maybe can step forward to share your experience.

It depends on what form of transport you are taking. If by bus, I believe bus 31 will bring you right infront of Parkway bus stop. From there cross the overhead bridge (outside kinderland) to roxy square. Walk from Roxy square 2 to the old roxy square and then cut through to Molin. Or if there are any other buses (no 10???) that ply along katong, that is also good.

Meanwhile for train, you can take the train to Eunos station, then change to 966 that stops infront of parkway bus stop.

Meanwhile if you drive, if you know how to go to parkway parade, you should know the way to Molin. It's just that it is along katong and just beside roxy square.

Thanks!! This info is useful to me. I am taking bus and my dh drives. So most of the time my dh is working I will take the bus. If he is free, then he will drive us there.
