And I can Bring My BBQ Skewers - for BBQ-ing the Chicken Wings ....

      For Us -
      Funx3 n DD .... n .... Doggie πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰
(Caveat - Doggie is Strict-ly Forbidden to be the Vacuum Cleaner for the Nite -hor!
And No Chocolate - Detrimental to its Health!)

My dd would LUUURRRRVVVEEEE Doggie. Sista Funx3, no need skewers, save the washing. I'll cut the wings into drumlets and winglets, then use the tongs to BBQ. That's the fast and easy way for hungry people.

We can be there after 6.30pm as my dd has a class till 6pm on Sats. What time will you gather?

Yeah! So Funx3 can join us lor!

Great idea for cutting into smaller pcs for the chix wings.. Next time I shd do that for my future BBQ parties too..

I shd be there ard 6 to unlock the pits.. N lay out the plastic table covers so cleaning can be easier mah..

Tomorrow then I do a update of the list of those coming yah in case someone just logged in tonight! πŸ˜‰

Hmm...then should I chuck mine into the oven, then we can save on effort to BBQ? Then again, what's the point of having the charcoal, huh? The impregnate lady is bringing, how? πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜„

Bringing the charcoal is not very difficult for me... if need any other, may indicate.

He didn't eat his snack I prepared cos he cannot see the Big pack in his Small bag! :skeptical: N left hs forms tat teacher gave under his desk instead of his bag just behind his bum! :slapshead: πŸ˜“

This part really sounds like something my son would do too. His water bottle is so big and yet sometimes he can say can't find it in his bag. 🀷 . Guess it's a boy's thing.

Oh yah, I almost forget that you're a school teacher. No wonder son so well trained.

Hahaha...I guess it must be a common issue with boys! I shd have known better after dealing with hundreds of boys these years..

Small toys like blade bey parts missing from his case, he can tell right away! But big bag of snacks or even a thing sitting Right in front of him he also say cannot see one lor...amazing! Er.... Since u were once there...u remember being like tat? :rotflmao: :siam:

            Drickymummy,

Charlie Bone was first introduced here by IJJ. DS loved 39 clues too. Finished the whole series last year. Another of those can't put down books for ds. I have the whole set of 39 clues. If you want, I pass them to you on Sat.

Too bad for Chinese he's not so on-the-ball. Trying the get him to read the famed PRC children book author 'Yang Hong Ying' next but don't know whether it's too chim for him.

It's either Charlie bone is written by a British writer or I have lost touch with any kids series... πŸ˜“

I still have quite a few new copies of 39 clues which he was too lazy/busy to read at all this holiday... thanks for the offer.. Will let him read those first..

My Ds totally off the ball when comes to reading Chinese books.. Never complete any single Chinese book since he can read by himself! 😒 so who is Yang Hong Ying I also totally no idea!

Oh yes, Charlie Bone is by a Britain author, Jenny Nimmo, total of 5 books in the series. We bought them in KL/JB Popular. Mine had to finish a book within the day to finally eat and sleep. πŸ˜‚ We even have them shipped here even tho she had finished reading them. πŸ˜‰

She told me she had surpassed her reading target last year of 2000 books (fiction/non-fiction/chinese/english). She reads an avg of 5 hrs a day. Sometimes, I wish she spend more of her time on other stuff as well. Her deteriorating eye-sight is also great concern. 🀷

Enjoy your yummy BBQ gathering! I wish I can be there.

                Wow 2,000 books!

IJJ, is that a typo? I’m quite sure my ds reads less than 10% of that per year.

                Fun3x,
Told ds he’ll be seeing a doggie and he was so excited. Please make sure you bring ok. Thanks.

for dd (p4), she likes all her new teachers.... not Sci HOD anymore so this year can drop the Sci tuition!! :rahrah:

                  Wah JoeeYee,

You really don't mince your words. πŸ˜‰

I read that the Sci setup in the nearby BTPS is very effective.

So you and Mum4ever coming for the gathering ornot?

Mum4ever not coming due to prior appointment.
My kids' class ends at 7pm on Sat so can only reach around 7.30pm, but cannot think of any BBQ food to bring yet so have not reply.... any suggestion?

Food is not important, just come for chatting, gathering, knowing each other...It is BBQ purpose, right? :boogie:
