Anyway, in CHS every morning they say a prayer before crossing themselves.

Is it okay to not do it since I'm Buddhist? You know. Like Buddhists can't cross themselves and Christians can't enter temples.

Yes, it's ok. Just stand there and be respectful. Don't need to do the \"sign of the cross\". Just remain quiet while they are saying prayers - no SMS'g, or making faces at friends/sign language.

I haven't made any new friends so far nor do I have any phone so far to e busy SMSing away. πŸ˜‚

Don't worry. I know how to respect others. Moreover, I very well know the consequences if I make friends or SMS during the prayer.

You know what ------- Push Upsssssssss!

Yea was there for the briefing, amongst the sec 4s. Oh and it isn’t really all that bad with the push-ups, it is used but really, few of the teachers ever do that. Just try not to test the raw nerves of some of the scarier ones.

esp Mr Lee (principal). At p1 meet parent session on 1st day of sch, he narrated that when he went out to eat w family, n CHS students came up to him to greet him, his wife was v impressed. She thot students will siam when see principal. So Mr Lee wants to train the boys to b respectful, like this.

Do anyone know the lowest n highest COP for both affliate n non-affiliate that came in this yr?

So far ds1 said non affliate min 248, but don’t know what 's the highest score.
ds1 also said he met a few affiliate w 230 here, n didn’t meet any lower. Then what’s the highest affiliate score?

The CIP Teacher? *hehe* over the years, I've watched her being very encouraging, and at the same time being very sarcastic.(\"where is your brain? Time to take it out of the freezer!) 😜

Hahaha I think I know which teacher you're talking about! πŸ˜›

A former teacher of mine once remarked how the Sec 4s would stifle giggles whenever they were being scolded by her, while the Sec 1s would stare at her blankly/in fear

COP for affiliates is 230. Even 229.9 cannot get it

You will only know the Highest COP for affiliated and non-affiliated and the mean when MOE releases the statistics on their website.

For affiliates, it is certainly 230, bc the school set it as that COP. So you will not find any affiliated boy from CHS primary in CHS secondary with COP below 230 unless they have DSA. There are Non-affiliated boys in CHS secondary with COP below 230 too, but again, all came in via DSA. Scores of boys who DSA will not be included in the Stats.

These are last year's cohort's stats for your reference.
