Where can I buy another set of PE attire? She says one set not enough
-
You can get shirts and stationery from boarding office Wed or Fri office hour as well as Sunday night after 8pm when the kid’s check in. Cannot confirm the time but the day is correct.
You need at least 3 sets PE attire. BE CAREFUL of the red shorts when you wash at home, the color runs! The old stock ok but new ones questionable. -

Today's sharing by the alumni members and a chat with Mrs Loo has really give me the assurance that my DD's academic progress will be well taken care of even if she does not excel in her sports.
DD is beaming with joy and seems to have adapted well. So happy for her.I bet you miss her more than she misses you. After 1-2 weeks, she will response to your SMS slower.

I heard you guys got to have supper with your kid's, so lucky. We didn't use to have. -

The uniform list only recommends 1 set so didn't buy more. Now she says not enough because of the sportssmart skills lessonsYou can get shirts and stationery from boarding office Wed or Fri office hour as well as Sunday night after 8pm when the kid's check in. According to Mr. Raymond, we are batch no. 9... so I suppose they are more accommodating to the newbies a bit more than previously.

Then again, the kids are all so different - some are so happy to meet their parents, others felt it was lame that their familes came.
My son's roommate was unwell, which compounded his homesickness... poor boy. He requested to be transferred, but his mum has told him to try out the arrangement for at least a module, and he'll spend only 3 nights at SSP. -

The Sports Smart Skills is a relatively new curriculum, so perhaps the Shooting Academy didn't factor that in.

Today my DD 1st maths lesson, she feedback that her classmates all can complete the question so fast. When teacher going thru the ans, she’s still doing.
And when teacher asks if they know a particular topic and the whole class ans yes and then that topic was skipped.
She’s so worried that she can’t catch up.

Just came back from SPM. I always enjoy listening to Mrs Tan's talk. It's very inspiring. I've learnt a lot and still learning from SSP how to give my ds space to learn and grow.
We went to Big M for dinner after SPM, 10pm :yikes: . Ds updated us on all his coming involvement. Gee! There's pretty much on his plate. I'm always worried he doesn't get enough rest. He started working on his project straight after his bath. It's 12+am already and he's still trying out a new software for doing his geography project for some school competition. :slapshead: -
Hi parents,
Was wondering what is the students dropout rate in SSP.
DS is very keen with SSP but I was shocked with the dropout rate in his area of sports to be more than 20%. :yikes: (Was told from 21 to existing 16 students)
Any parents able to advise?
