      preggie:
A friend asked the Mrs Wong about 3M's class size and she said that it's 43 and not 46.

This is so very strange. How can there be 43 when there are 27 boys and 19 girls? Or our kids cannot count? :?
My boy said that the register showed - 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7,..... Hence, the last student was No. 46. Ms Lam discovered this error and rectified it. The total no. of students in 3M (as of yesterday πŸ˜‰ ) was 45.

So, preggie, your girl was right. There are 26 boys and 19 girls in 3M.

Maybe the Principal is using a Log Calculator r that why the numerical number is 43. :imcool:

This month's notification is silent on PTM. Wonder what the format will be for this year? 🀷 The \"group\" PTM last year took place in the second week of Term 1.

            Yah...am waiting. I prefer the 1 to 1 session.
BTW, anyone know what is the purpose of having a co form teacher this year? Is he/she there to help out the admin matters or ???? Something new this year...

according to mrs wong, co-form teacher is there cos the school wanted all students to have more chance to talk to or getting nearer to their teacher....something to do with holistics teaching...can't remember totally what she said, cos its a long speech by her during orientation.

                  Hi Dino Mummy,

I remember that you mentioned before that the spelling is very unlike those in the lower primary. There could be words from science and maths topics. DS rec the spelling list yesterday and it seems very related to the Stellar book topics, does it mean there will be β€˜surprise’ words being tested other than those in the list? Need your advise.

oh...depends on the class teacher. His teacher gave surprise spelling weekly. And some of the words are science or math related. The spelling booklet are more phrases kind and not juz the 1 word kind of spelling. His class also need to memorise certain phrases for weekly spelling.

From the school website, most of the co-form teachers are the Mother Tongue teachers or teachers who teach the students in at least one subject. So, if this is the case, the desire for \"all students to have more change to talk to or getting nearer to their teacher\" makes sense. However, my girl's co-form teacher is someone who doesn't teach her any subject any all. 🀷
