Can anyone advise what to bring during art lesson? Thks!
We usually pack the standard crayons, colour pencils and a few pieces of drawing blocks. If the teacher requires other materials like newspapers, they will tell the kids beforehand. -

My P1-F DS left behind his stellar book at school, can any parents please advise what I should do? Very worried because the AM session will share the same classroom tomorrow. Thanks very much in advance!
Call GO to tell them to retrieve it and keep for you. Then get your DS to pick it up later. Sometimes GO may pass to your DS's form teacher and the form teacher will then hand it to your DS during lesson. I experienced before, dont worry too much. The upper Pri student will also usually pass it to GO if they saw it. -

Yes, I suppose any type will do. I mean its really up to you if you want to buy them. I bought it as part of the school book list the last year.

[/quote]Welcome. There could also be other scenarios which you may think the book is lost (can't locate in class). One is classmate mistakenly took it and put into bag, another case is handed up wrongly to teacher together with workbook. It may take few days to a week before the book appears again. Hence I check bag everyday now to account for all books. Sigh.

Hi Larkspur
Not sure when will we be given the userid and password.
But there are instructions on their website to login to 'Parents Portal'. http://www.ncps.moe.edu.sg/document/step_by_step_guide_Login_to_Parent_Portal.pdf
The above instruction is only for Parents Portal. Can anyone advise how do we login to 'School Portal'? Will we be given a different userID and password? -

Your ID: [your kid's BC No]
Your Password: [same]
Try. If not, then got to ask school. We initially also encountered some issue upfront but was ok after few days.
