Yes, they are absolutely the correct ones.
Wow! every post of urs very details.I think u spend a lot of time to write.I always searching tips \"how to teach for certain catergory\" like composition. After I read ur post I understood what is \"creative writing\".Even school Ts also didn't guide us.We all blessed to have you. :thankyou: :thankyou:
God bless u and ur family! -
Hi tclhub
You are very welcome.
Just my 2 cents worth on a book for English Compre Practice - DD did not use any commercial resources [not even the ones under the Oxford Essentials series which had questions as we bought those more to educate me than for DD to attempt] but found the Past year papers from other schools useful for practice.
Hope this helps and all the best to you and DD this year

Hi smartmummy
You are the smart one indeed - I am really lousy at anything to do with IT
Glad to share and happy if any one finds what I wrote useful
I realised my memory was getting fuzzy about PSLE matters since I ended my last PSLE journey last year, so I must rack my brains for anything else useful to share and share it soon.
God bless you and your family too! -

:thankyou: :udawoman:Hi Kitty2
As to your query about the Oxford Essentials series - back in the days when I was still buying assessment books by the ton, they did sell them at Popular and since then, I have seen them off and on at some Popular stores, but other parents tell me that itβs not readily available except through the below link - there is a number for an entity called \"Creative Steps\" at this link where you can make enquiries as to how to purchase if you are interested; alternatively you can contact the author through her blog and I'm sure she'll direct you where to purchase her books.

Wishing you and everyone in KSP forum a very happy new year -
DS came back with PSLE dates. I just stuffed the paper into the drawer. Donβt want to look at it and spoil my first school week of the year.

I am againt the friction pen too. I told my ds it's ok to use for your normal work but not for exam papers.[/quote]Checked with DS on this friction pen, in fact his school has banned them from using this pen for exams. Reasons beingChenonceau:

re: friction pen
I remember reading a thread last year that a parent tested the friction pen and the ink faded under heat. Do a search. I rather not take the risk.
1. Disappear under heat
2. Prone to cheating (students may correct the answers when the test papers come back for their checking without any visible trace of being corrected)
